northern cal folks with dent pulling experience?

folks-

i've been wanting to fix my door for a while rather than buy a used one - 
just for the experience of it.

seems that the dent pullers that you screw into the sheet metal are too 
damaging - rather, spot welding-type dent pulling systems seem like a 
better alternative.

anyway, any listers in the bay area have access (and experience) in doing 
it this way? if so, please shoot off an email off list - i'll buy beer and 
grub!
