Re: oil cap



The little metal tabs on each side of the center - the parts that actually
fit in the hole and lock the cap in place when you turn it - are like
springs and tend to lose their tension with time and heat.  If just a gasket
works, great, but a whole cap isn't very expensive and pretty much
guarantees and end to the leaking.
