The setup mentioned will transform the car, it is easily the best bang
for the buck mod.

Any other mod, cam, TB, etc, is a waste without first getting rid of the
4 into 1 toilet bowl exhaust.

I installed the same setup on my RIP '85 Scirocco, along with an A2
throttle body
and opened up intake, and it is usually the first mod I do to an 8V...

I also installed a dual exhaust manifold, long TT downpipe, TT exhaust
w/UltraFlo on my '83 GTI, and I'm very happy with it.

Make sure that you get the little bracket that goes from the exhaust
manifold
to the intake manifold, especially if you are having engine mount issues.

The TT exhaust comes with a "HD" mount, and I would recommend changing
the other 3...
