I would love to see a picture for comparison purposes.
Thanks,

On my 190mm flywheel, the shop took off all but about a 1/4" from the gear
teeth.  He suggested from a safety point of view to leave that much.  I have
pictures if anyone want to see.

OK, so, I took the old flywheel out and compared it to my new lightened
flywheel. I was amazed at how much material had been removed. Nearly
everything up to the ring gear. Is this normal. I did not get mine from
Velocity, so I was hoping that someone who did could verify this for me. On
my old one, there is probably over an inch of material past the ring gear.
Is it normal to remove that much?
