The car is a 1990 Passat in Chicago.  The t-belt broke and as I
understand it, one of the exhaust manifold nuts is stripped.  I sold this
guy a 16v head on eBay, but after he won it, he backed out.  He told me
he wants $250.00 for the car.  The A/C needs recharging and the head is
in questionable condition, but hell...anyone local needing a cheap car to
fix and sell or part out should get in touch.

If anyone would be willing to tow it in my direction I'd take it in a
sec.

I have a head ready to go on too...still.
