Is this a 16v with it's Dist on the Horizontal? Or is it the earlier
type with the shaft vertical. If the latter I would not worry with
gluing it down again.

Look for some HiTemp Epoxy if you want to affix the thing, let it dry
overnight with he cap off to avoid out gassing problems.

(I have never glued on down, take it with a pinch).
