Race Stories & Found New Home For My '80 Silver

On my way to FedEx today I spot a Corrado SLC...

After pulling onto RT 40, 4 lane highway, we both get on it.
I got him by 1/2 a car length in the beginning, and it was dead even up
to almost a hundred, 
where we had to back off, because we were catching up to traffic.

The dude motions for me to pull over...

He asks if I have any Mk.1's for sale, and he tells me that, we met
around 4 years ago, when I was selling Cate's '80 Scirocco.

I asked if he had it floored earlier and if he was trying his best and he
said yes... 8^)
The VR6 is stock except for a Pee-Slow air filter, and an AMS chip.
He's trying to sell it for $12,500, I think he'll get it, it is very
clean, and it only has ~58K miles on it.

He stopped over my place a few hours later, to check out the Mk.1's that
I have for sale.

He decided to buy the silver '80, that I don't have time for right now.

I feel really good about selling it to this guy, he has big plans for
it... 

I've decided to pull the plug on the primer red '80 Scirocco and I'm
going to completely strip it in the next few weeks.

I've also decided that I'm going to fix up the white '79 Scirocco, and/or
find a good home for it, because it would be a shame to strip it.

2 out of 3 ain't bad...
