(way OT) Question for German listers

Hi. Dumb Question. I won a T shirt (real nice cotton, with a Killer whale on
it) at a VW show (nearest this gets to scirocco content...). Anyway, it says
HEPU - Made in Germany on it. What does this company make? I don't want to be
wearing a shirt from a company I don't know anything about, I presume it is
something automotive, but it could be whale killers for all I know! Thanks in
