Re: still puzzled -long- please read

Before you go assuming it's a thermo time switch, have you tried resetting ISV duty cycle, DPR current, and timing? *ALL* three of these things will cause the symptoms you described if not set right. I will also guarantee they are not set right if you tweaked the Air flow sensor adjustment. Set these all to their proper values, and in the proper order then go from there. I replaced a head on my 16v car, and my car simply stopped running right after that. It turned out to be that everything needed to be set. Don't give up, i've been working on my 16v car slowly over a period of about 6-7 months now in my spare time. I would make sure all of this is correct first, and then go about testing.

The collant temperature sensor has been replaced, and the oxygen sensor is fine. I did a compression test, and all cylinders fell within an acceptable range. the lowest compression was 180psi and the highest was 205psi. The car has new plugs ni it, and the wires are not arching. The fuel injectors are brand fucknig new, and the cat conjverter is only about a year old. The fuel filter is a wekk old to teh day.
