7" headlights in MK1??

Im planning on putting 7" round headlights in my 77 rocco.. Anyone tryed
this?
everyone tells me it cant be done, anyone think different?
if anyone has tryed it any special pointer?
Are there any headlight buckets like the mk1 rocco but that will hold 7"
or anyway to create my own?
Anyone ever tryed to make there own custom grille?
im going to make a custom grille that holds 2 7" headlights instead of 4 
5 3/4" lights, any pointers on making that grille??
