Actually, some of the 88 Scirocco's did come with the hyd lifter head
which came in ALL of the Cabrolets. 
Most ofthe 88's ive seen were all 16v's but of that group year of cars,
ive seen 2 8v's that were hyd and 1 8v that was solid lifter. VW does
wierd shit.
