Waterfest rally: SCIROCCOS WANTED!

Guys, yours truly needs an easy favor from you. I am under a tremendous
amount of presure to put the Waterfest RoadRally together for your
enjoyment. I have completed 75% of the logistical work like selling the idea
to the show organizers, securing insurance, mapping out the course, made
press contacts, etc. I'd now like to focus on the remaining 25% of the work
which is a matter of promoting, preparing the paperwork, handouts, etc. You
would not believe how much work this is.

Okay, so here is how you can help. Please let me know who intends to run the
event and then register at www.waterfest.net. It will be extraordinarily
helpful to have your support on this. Duan's little rally was a hoot; this
one will totally blow your minds! My goal is to make the rally the most
memorable part of the weekend!

The course is completely finished. The roads are *spectacular* (gorgeous,
rurual, and twisty) and are 100% smoooooth pavement. Ironically, rallyists
will pass right by Island Dragway during the trip. The rally will be run on
the day *before* the show -starting at the main Hotel (East Hanover Ramada)
at 12pm noon. This leaves plenty of time afterwards for car washing,
partying, and anything else that you'd want to do. The speeds will be quick
but not at all dangerous to car, driver's license,  life and limb. You have
my word on that. So far, all the entries are coming from folks who are
showing the very next day. The roads are perfect! -no bumps, puddles, dirt,
or whatever.

I'd really like to see an organized Scirocco.org team out there. I'm running
the mic on the next day and will give props to the ones I love! Trophies
will be handed out to the drivers *and* navigators that finish in first,
second, and third positions. Max Power magazine will be on hand to write up
the event. Comments? Concerns? One love.
