RE: Revelation

Now change your battery cables for 1 (ONE) Gauge Cables and don't forget to
change the alternator Ground cable (block to alternator) for a 1 gauge
also.. (that is what I did on my 85 8v and believe it or not, I was barely
on 12v , now the car runs 13 with euro lights full on, 14 when no lights are
on.
cheers...

Did the mod, loved it so much I made it a tech not on my web site. :)

I have seen the light!

Whilst changing out the driverıs side motor mount, I decided to replace the
OEM ground strap on the battery. I came to this decision after noticing
that the cheesy stamped metal ground terminal on the cable was actually
broken on the bottom and the only contact that was being made was around the
very top edge of the terminal.

I ran a 4 gauge wire from the battery to the bolt on the transmission that
used to hold the self-adjustment support rod for the clutch cable (now a
manually adjusted model). I ran a 2 gauge braided strap from there back to
the frame (original location).

The starter now cranks at about twice the RPM.

Can I get an ³Amen?²
