Fixing A/C

Hi All,

I have an '81 Scirocco that is probably going to be sold soon, but I'm 
wondering how hard it would be to get the A/C working.  The compressor
is seized, and I have no idea when the system last worked.  I think
I can get a compressor, but what are the chances of getting it to
work again?
