injectors, feul filter...now what!!

ive replaced teh injectors and the feul filter, and its still fuqued up!!  i noticed that when i first turn the key, sometimes the feul pump is loud, other times barely audible.  Bad feul pump maybe?  im going to perform tests on the thermotime switch and the cold start injector as well today, but im almost running out of ideas.  HELP PLEASE
