Engine Hesitation - 86 8v

Brethren,

I have been to hells gate with the good book by my side (the Bentley), and
to no avail I'm still having problems. I have check everything the book has
told me and have no success.

The engine starts and idles beautifully, when I put my foot into it and it
is sitting or under a load, its goes ugh hesitates then builds rpm, it won't
even build rpm when under a load.

I have swapped injectors and stopped all the air leaks (boots not torn,
minor hoses replaced), checked OXS circuit, thermotime, thermoswitch,
timing, vacuum resistance in wires, resistance in the coil, fuel deliver
system top to bottom and it still does it.:(

Any sermons from the flock would be appreciated, I'm am being led do the
wrong path an I need redemption.

I did find that when I put water on the throttle body the engine started to
hesitate and if I ran it over it long enough it would die, do they go bad
(the good book gives no information on repair). I am at this point assuming
that is part of the problem but not all of it.
