Ben,

I just finished a seat project.  Swap the foam from the left side of the 
passenger seat to the left side of the drivers seat. You can tape some foam 
around the passenger side left side wire - the one that hurts your hip when 
the foam is gone - before you put the deficient piece of foam from the 
drivers seat onto the passenger's seat.

Get your hog ring pliers and go to town.

Swapping these pieces of foam before the driver's side is worn through is 
probably good preventive maintenance.  Soon after the foam goes, the seat 
cover goes.
