trans building

ok...it's time for me to put together a transmission for my 87 16v 
and there are a few things that i'm unclear about.....

first, i want to install the quaife that i picked up last 
year.....also, i'd like to install the ring and pinion from a 2H 
transmission that i have

what parts exactly do i need to transfer over to the AGB trans from 
the 2H? (i know i need the ring gear to be removed and installed on 
the quaife.....pretty sure i need to use the 1st and 2nd gear from 
the 2H due to them being cut together at the factory..)......can i 
use the input shaft from the 16v trans?

i have all the tools and someone who can help me if i get stuck, but 
i just want to make sure i have all the parts when i decide to put it 
all together
