RE: volt decrease Q?

Make sure that the alternator light in working in your cluster!!!
If not, or it is unconnected, then you miss a important loop to get
your alternator working properly...

Subject: volt decrease Q?

For a couple of years now my 84' 8V has been having a pretty serious drop on
the voltmeter when running accessories. When the car is running without
headlights, blower, etc.. it sits right at 12v. When I flip the haedlights
on it goes to just above 11v . When I flip on the air it goes down below
11v, and when I hit a turn signal it's bouncing up and down from below 10V.
Is this one of those grounding problems? I switched out the alternator last
year thinking that might have been the problem, but ended up with the same
thing. I am also running relayed euro headlights. Battery is also new,
last one lasted about 2 years.

Any ideas?
