ok, first, our euro lights cross the light at a focal point ahead of the glass, explaining why the
angled light portion is on the opposite side of where you would think it should be.
the wavy portions are meant to spread light evenly, for example, the vertical 'lines' will diffuse
light horizontally (as to light up the entire area below the cutoff).
you may notice that almost the entire upper half of our euro lights have this pattern. the pattern
is on top vs. the bottom based on that same focal point thing i mentioned earlier. (most of) the
light on the road that is under the cutoff line actually passes through the top half of the glass.
once you understand the whole focal crossover thing, you can examine a light lens and the rest will
start to make sense.
