[tech]fuel pump relay - Mk1 16V

Well, it finally happened today.  My fuel pump relay fried just as I was gonna 
run a 2001 Celica. Feck!

Anyways, I was fortunate enough to be carrying a jumper wire (I have no idea 
why I left it in the car), installed it and got back to work in time.

So now what do I do....I presently have a 16V in a Mk1 rocco with the 16V 
wiring spliced into the Mk1 wiring harness.  Do I replace the relay or will I 
be experiencing similar problems?  Is there a different relay to be used?  
Should I simply wire in a jumper wire with a cutoff switch?  Any suggestions 
would be greatly appreciated.  TIA
