Re: Clicking noise under car. Bad CV joint?

Just had this fixed on my 16v a month ago.  Assuming your noise gets faster 
with rpm--'clicking' sound is most likely  the cv joint; a dull, thud kind 
of sound like suv's and trucks with big knobby tires have is more likely the 
wheel bearings.  You should be able to hear the 'clicking' even at almost no 
speed.
