Micheal,

concerning holding the faceplate into the frame of the console
use the two exteriror guages U shaped frame and bend both legs (one of each
side)
to catch the edge of the console left (which I DID mention to leave for this

Subject: Idiot light & buzzer after Pressure gauge install?

so i put in my triple gauge cluster yesterday (oil pressure, volts, oil
temp) using a dual pole sender. both gauge and sender are 10 bar. hooked it
up, gauge seems to work fine (1-2 bar idle, 4-6 at speed), but the idiot
light and buzzer are lighting and buzzing. grounding the wire shuts it off,
and i assume that the pole on the sender should register 0 ohms with ground
above 2000 rpms. it doesn't. is the sender busted, or is there something
else i'm not thinking of? btw, anybody know of a good way to hold everything
in? i have an aluminum faceplate, but i can't find a good way to fasten it.
and thanks to patrick b for his good how-to on his web site!
-michael
