john,
get another downpipe (good excuse for an upgrade, techtonics race downpipe or some alternative),
also, you'd have to tack on a cat, but at least you'd have the better downpipe.
also, check your engine mounts, that flex joint wont go unless its overflexed, which wont happen
unless the mounts are letting it play too much.
