[tech]indepth transmission q.

I don't want to replace or have my transmission rebuilt when I swap the 
motor.  Too much money for right now.  None of the gears pop out, no 
grinding, all the synchros seem to be in good shape.

However, the marble-like noise coming from the input shaft bearing is not 
good.  I would like to replace this while the transmission is out.  Has 
anyone ever done one of these?
