Ok, I too am a skeptic of the additives.  But, also the curious type.  So
I tried a Prolong kit one time, to see if it really made any difference
what-so-ever.  The oil additive didn't change a thing, but damn did their
trans additive change some shit.  Now the trans already had clean BG
Synco-shift in it, a damn fine transmission oil, but when I added the
prolong, no more cold 2nd gear crunch, and just a general seat of the
pants faster/better feel.  That is the *only* personal positive experience
I have had with any of those additives....
