Re: uh-oh, may need a starter



before you replace it, check two things: on mine, one of the allen bolts
holding it was missing, and the other one would occasionally come loose and
cause the same problems. never replaced the other bolt (this was back in my
doing things half-assed days). another problem that i had a couple of years
back was some kind of bushing was worn, causing bad things to happen. it was
a while ago though, and the specifics are kind of hazy. check bentley; i
think it has some specifics on the bushing. as for the missing bolt, just
check and see if your starter looks like it's about to fall off :)
