RE: putting a vr6 motor in a scirocco

I really don't recommend the VR6 swap into an A1 chassis car, Derrick. The
engine is simply too heavy and your car will handle like crap. You'll have
to run a custom front spring rate to keep the front end from bottoming out
and you'll still be down on power compared to some other options. To make
matters worse, you'll have to pay *more* to get less. Why do it?

Go with a 1.8T if you must have a factory motor. Or, run a worked normally
aspirated 2.0l 16v or add boost to it. I've built a 2.0l 16v with individual
throttle bodies and should have over 200 all motor hp in a few weeks.

A VR6 conversion will get you show points, but you'll get smoked at the
lights. That's the bottom line.

P.S. Put that VR6 *behind* the front seats (mid-engine) and then you'll be
my hero. :^)
