Tell him it's like him doing a 351 Cleveland swap into his Mustang.  Its not
inexpensive, but the results can be impressive.

Whoa! hold up.  I mainly wanted to show my friend (he owns a 5.0 mustang)
that there was a hellacious difference between 8v and 16v and its worth the
money and time to do a swap. I don't even think for a second I'll be able to
go up against his Ford.
