Re: 170k mile 9a prep? (+ some submarine stuff)



Yea, we call it 'rolling out the bearings'. On a submarine for some reason
we cant just say that in english, we have to speak it in a tune: "roll out
the bearings, roll out the bearings for me". Just one of them things. Of
course our bearings are as big as 2 feet diameter and weigh up to 300 lbs
(for one half). Something to do with having 1.8 million ft-lbs of torque 'at
the wheels' (heheh). BTW, i'm not kidding about that number.
