need voltage regulator or alternator, any suggestions?

hey all.. i'm thinking my car could use a new voltage regulator or possibly
one of those 90A alternators that everybody's been talking about, but doing
a quick search of the internet, doesn't get me very far (too easy to get
side tracked). i'm wondering if anybody got any ideas or good parts for me.
