Engine stand

So I went and got an engine stand so I could do some cleaning and a little
disassembly but darn if I don't see how those 4 moveable "pegs" are supposed
to fit into the block.  I didn't come with directions....  guess they
figured that ANYONE would know how to work the thing.  Any clues?
BTW it is your standard 50$ unit with the four wheels rated at 1000# I
think, and I plan on using it for the 1.6 I just pulled AND later for the
1.8 16v I plan on installing.
