Get a JH head from the junkyard and use the G grind
with it!

Any 1.8 (CIS) head is better than the USA 1.5/1.6/1.7
heads. The head in the lowline early A2 Golf/Jetta had
a 38/33 valve size, the JH and HT/RD have 40/33, the
1.6 heads are 33/31.

(40/33 meaning 40mm intake, 33mm exhaust)

Make sure about the oil pump 1st . . .
