RE: gas tank removal.



nope , last time I saw a mechanic remove my gas tank (sear dude has put a
screw in it thinking it was the floor of the car anyway I digress)
they took out the rear axle bushing, and gently dropped the U frame, making
sure they removed he brake lines from the assembly, they had to get through
the passenger side rear wheel well (plastic panel there to be opened) to
reach the gas lines and such so they could drop the tank (after taking the
bolt-plates off) .. its PITA.
