Car running too cool!?!?

Just wondering if this thread took off? Or it might have turned into the
Jetta radiator thread. I was curious because my car runs very cool (strange
since it is a 2.0L 16v) and was wondering if this cuts into my performance.
It seems that once the fan cycles once (once the temp gauge is reading about
3/4) then the car seems to have more power. Don't think it has anything to
do with the drag that the oil puts on the crank since I have installed a
windage tray. I have always thought that the fuel system is more efficient
at "normal operating temperature" but since I have CIS E then the only
temperature sensitive system is the cold start system right? Doesn't the
coolant temp sensor that goes to the computer there just to help the
computer mix for better combustion? Just curious!
