Well, this here item is solely responisble for getting me into Mk1 roccos.

This exact same manual was handed to me along with the keys to my Dads
1978 Rabbit, it was my first car.  Dad said, you drive it, you fix it.  I
asked what the cool car in the backgroud of the book was....he said a
scirocco... :-)

Years later, I finally got one, then another, then another...and so on!
