Other than the big debate this is gonna cause, not a whole lot.
Pros:
Sounds cool and throaty.
Maybe (not yet proven correct nor proven wrong) a slight bit of power at the
highest end of the rpm band.  If there is, then it is very very slight 1/2
hp.

Cons:
Any extra air brought into the air box is going to be hot air unless at
highway speed (where a slight gain is noticed by some)

Really there is no benifits that one could notice, but also no negatives.
If you think a deeper sound is cool, I say go with it, but you are probably
losing some power down low because of the hot air your engine is takin in
(colder air makes more power)
Ask around and see what others say before doing it.
