No, of course not.  The force of a spring is a related by f = -kx, k being
the spring constant and x being the distance the spring is compressed.  So
what.  The rear will be a little stiffer.

I would not recommend cutting them if they are aftermarket springs.  I have
boge progas and I cut the stock springs, the result is that the car handles
badass and looks good ...at the same time it does sacrifice ride comfort.

 Also it would be a PITA to cut the springs if you do not have air tools.

Do what you like.
