Undo that clamp and separate the two exhaust pieces.  Take a crowbar and 
stick it in the cat hole, move it in and out and shake it all around (minds 
out of gutter), too break cat into little pieces.  Remove crowbar.  Cover 
ears and start car, rev a few times to spit out all the little pieces.  
Reassemble exhaust and clean up the mess in the garage or driveway.  
Disclaimer, Not that I have ever done this or anything.
