RE: Good news: shifter results (1st & 2nd)



I have the same problem with my '82; it's always kind of hard to get it into
second, but sometimes it grinds hideously.  Looks like I'll be adjusting it
the next chance I get.  Did you just loosen the clamp at the front of the
shifter rod and rotate the rod in the clamp until the gap was correct under
the shifter?
