Sal,

I have the MK1 console in my Rabbit and I needed more gauges than two so I
made a plexiglass gauge cluster for the hole above the original gauges that
hold three gauges.  The downside is that you have to cut the back of the
pocket out so you are cutting up a MK1 console and you loose a pocket to
hold crap.  The upside, three more gauges!!!!  I am willing to make some of
these if people are interested.  For my time and finding the right 'thick
enough' plexiglass, I would charge $20 plus shipping.  Oh, you can choose
the color.  The back of the cluster needs to be painted a certain color and
you can match your dash (black, silver, or woodgrain sticker).  All of you
from the Seattle area that has seen my custom cluster can vouch for me, it
turned out pretty good.  LMK if anyone is interested!
