Gli Distributor

I think I need another distibutor for my rocco, and I can get this '89 gli 
distributor at the local yard for $50 with 67k on it. It is for a 16v 1.8, 
and I'm trying to put it in my '87 16v... will it work or will there be 
compatability problems?
