I should have refraised that, every CIS based VW I have owned, which would
be:

78 Rabbit
79 Scirocco
80 Scirocco
80 Scirocco (still have it)
81 Scirocco S (still have it)
88 Jetta GLI 16v
85 Golf GTI
83 Rabbit
84(early) Scirocco Automatic
88 Scirocco 16v (owned for very short time)(wish I kept it, was a carbon
copy of Cammisa's ride)

ok so that was the CIS or CIS-E based VWs that I have owned that I
remember anyway...other vehicles I have owned:

90 Golf
85 Audi Coupe GT
91 Cabriolet (still have it)
97 Golf Trek (still have it)
83 Rabbit Truck (Caddy to you Dirk) Diesel
00 Golf TDI (still have it)
and...
87 Honda Civic Si (Hondas are reliable? This things valve seals were
TOASTED at 110k miles....still, made a good pizza delivery car)
