I'm not sure what you mean. U.S. Mk1 Sciroccos had two
styles of steerings wheels - early (1975-1976)and late
(1977-1981)(as far as I know).

Both of my 1975 Sciroccos had the steering wheel with
the 3 "holes" on each of the the "spokes" that go out
to the "wheel". On the later steering wheels the
"holes" were replaced with a single "slot".
