  how messed up, is too messed up? my arms were shot - completely. i
could've used perma-gask or something like that to hold 'em in place
but, ironically, i didn't want to damage the linkage :)  too tight is
when you tighten so far that they nuts don't move, but you end up moving
them anyway. ends up that the wiper assembly i got from daun had a new
motor, so i managed to kill two birds with one stone. all worked out
well in the end.
