Re: [OT] Re: Jetta's (Not GTi or Scirocco related)

Cheers for that

Its been on the road alright. Its got most of its history and Mot's which
show milege - The invoices and dates all match up.

MOT - Ministry of Transport Roadworthiness Certificate

Its a medium metallic blue

I am in the UK as you suspect - low mileage probably due to us being a small
island - not far to go to get anywhere ;-)

I thought the suspension may be problematic as it skips down the road - rust
is not a problem - It was Waxoly'd from new and has tiny amounts of rust on
the surface of one arch - The underside is as sound as a pound.

Perhaps the bushings etc as the last owner dropped it 40mm on Boge Turbogas
shocks and springs but everthing else seems original in the suspension. It
has the Mk1 Golf (Rabbit) Gti 9 spoke alloys with 4 different brand tyres
which i suspect is why the handling can be interesting.

It does go real well, two Mk3 Golf Gti's having fallen victim in the last 2
days much to their disgust

Lastly - It has a real loud high pitched squeak as you go along which goes
when you touch the brake pedal - Its difficult to tell where its coming from
but i think!!! its the rear

Cheers
