I'm 29 and my scirocco is my first water-cooled VW. I've had 4 Beetles in
the past and I still have one...a '71 Super Beetle, although it's been in
hibernation since 1994.
I grew up in Germany (lived there for 13 years), learned how to drive there
in fahrshule (driving school) and I've back in the states since 93.
