Well, the problem has been found, I did it the old fashioned way, put
more oil in, put a bucket under the car and started her up.  Seems my
oil cooler seal went to shit, and is not spewing oil all over my
engine.  I know this post has been in recent discussion in the last
couple weeks here on the list.
Off to the local VW good guys to try and track one down!!
