Yeah I think if you do this you are just waiting for a stone to get caught up 
in there causing the belt to jump time and then well,    you know.

Make sure you are not putting the belt on too tight or else it will make 
whirring noise and probably cause premature failuation.

The belt should not be tight at all.  you should be able to take the belt in 
your fingers at the center point and be able rotate it (Im not 100% sure but 
I think 45 degrees.  Good luck
