This could just be a bad relay. I'd try jumping pins 30 and 87 and seeing
if the problem goes away, and if so, get yourself a new relay. If the
relay is hot, the main pump may be drawing too much power (meaning that
the bearings are seizing), and it may be time to get a new main pump.
